About AIAL (ICT)
Ahmedabad International Airport Limited (AIAL) Integrated Cargo Terminal (ICT) has developed technologically advanced cargo facilities since May 2025, almost doubling its cargo-handling capacity. By streamlining processes and reducing delays, AIAL is strengthening its role as a key logistics hub in India.
AIAL handled a record 11,352 metric tons (domestic & international) of cargo between May 2025 to June 2025. Now, our estimated target for FY2025 is 45,000 metric tons. AIAL continues to improve infrastructure, expand connectivity, and adopt digital solutions to support India’s growing logistics sector.
Cargo Management System
AIAL introduced GALAXY, which streamlines cargo processes, improves coordination, and enhances efficiency, making air cargo management faster and more organised.
Key Features of GALAXY:
- Customized Features: The platform supports shipment tracking, carting order approvals, and payment processing for cargo handling fees.
- Cargo Mobile Application: This user-friendly platform improves cargo operations with real time tracking, providing instant updates on air cargo status, enabling transparency, efficiency, and convenience. Additionally, users can track shipments from Entry to Export General Manifest (EGM), Import General Manifest (IGM), and final delivery, enabling informed decisions anytime, anywhere on the carrier's website.

Special Cargo Handling
AIAL Airport has a world-class cargo facility designed to handle various types of shipments, including oversized cargo, hazardous goods, live animals, car shipments, defence equipment, and temperature-controlled pharmaceuticals. A specialised team ensures smooth processing of ad-hoc charter flights, securing necessary approvals and maintaining timely connections. With IATA GDP certifications, the airport guarantees the highest standards for pharmaceutical handling.

Export: 12 hours from cargo admittance to acceptance (BAG) and 36 hours from acceptance to actual departure.
